What we’re looking for: Interns

Office location: Working from our London office

Education: Degree level or higher, ideally in a biomedical science

We’re looking for passionate, enthusiastic self-starters with a real interest in healthcare communications. You will be an outstanding communicator, with good attention to detail and an excellent standard of written English.

You will support all areas of the business, working closely with the three founding directors and our fantastic team on project planning and delivery, research to support business development, as well as the inevitable admin!

We have a high retention rate for our interns, with the opportunity to join us in permanent, full-time trainee positions at the end of the internship (minimum 3 months). This is a great opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience at an award-winning central London agency.

What we’re looking for: Account Manager

Office location: Working from our London or Oxford office

Education: Degree level or higher, ideally in a biomedical science

We are looking for a creative, dynamic account manager to join our team, delivering bespoke medical communications programmes to the highest standards. Experience of working on innovative patient engagement initiatives and cutting-edge med-tech solutions would be a distinct advantage.

You will work within a close-knit team to manage delivery of an efficient, effective and profitable service on client accounts and projects, ensuring that all materials and programmes delivered by NexGen are on brief and meet clients’ objectives.

You will have:

  • At least 3 years’ experience, gained in an agency or in-house environment, with excellent insight into the industry and its regulations
  • Outstanding project management and organisational skills, and a good understanding of the commercial drivers of the business
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, combined with strong evidence of teamwork and achievement in client service excellence, with proactive financial management of project budgets and reconciliations
