Senior Account Manager


We are looking for a Senior Account Manager to drive the growth of multiple client accounts, providing strategic insight to generate new business opportunities and leading the team to deliver high-quality work to time and budget.

Key responsibilities

Oversee the management and delivery of projects on multiple client accounts and supporting and guiding account managers (and executives) to ensure effective delivery

Coach junior account team members, review materials (e.g. budgets) and provide constructive feedback to ensure highest standards of quality and accuracy are consistently achieved

Provide strategic insight and effectively develop new proposals and ideas to help grow existing accounts, and lead in all aspects of the pitch process for new business

Skills and knowledge required

Degree educated, preferably in science, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Medical Communications or similar/equivalent agency/pharma sector

Strong project management and organisational skills, combined with good understanding of the commercial drivers of the business

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team within a high-pressure environment
